Since today is International Beer Day, we thought we’d send you some last minute seasonal summer selections. Although they might not all be international, they are still worth a try!

BeerMenus is a great site to get craft beer ratings by serious craft beer drinkers. They recently had an article that pulled the most searched for craft beers during the summer months.

Although there’s many to choose from, we’ve picked a few favorites we think you should try and snag before the season ends!

Bells Oberon was one of our first choices. It’s a wheat ale fermented with Bell’s signature house ale yeast, mixing a spicy hop character with mildly fruity aromas. The addition of wheat malt lends a smooth mouthfeel, making it a classic summer beer. It’s a light beer but complex enough to appreciate it.
This is also a fairly light bodied beer with flavors of lemongrass and hints of honey. This isn’t a fancy beer with a ton of ingredients, it’s exactly what you’d expect. This makes the perfect summer beer because it pairs with anything off of the grill! Enjoy after a long days work!
Purple Haze is a lager brewed with real raspberries added after filtration. The berries add a fruity aroma, tartly sweet taste and a subtle purple color and haze. I would stay away from serving this with a main course meal. However, this is the perfect “appy hour” beer to serve with certain cheeses, or to end your night with a chocolatey dessert.

Tips & Tricks
